I love a good camera and I'm fussy about lenses but recently for non work related pictures I've been using my phone way too much. I carried around my 80s Nikon FM for a few weeks and picked the pictures up from Boots the other day. A bit of a random mix of different things came back; a new baby, a hen weekend, my friend's shiny hair and gross finger injury, a selfie and Notting Hill Carnival. For the last few years I haven't used film much because of the price but a roll and prints costs less than a Nandos. The first wedding I photographed was on a 50s camera with a very dodgy light meter but there's something a bit special about those pictures I can't really describe; I definitely prefer them to my phone pictures.
