I wanted to see what results I would get if I directed people a little more than I usually do. I didn't want to practice this on anyone's big day so I set up a photo shoot. All the people in the following pictures gave up part of their precious weekend to come and play dressing up with me at very short notice so they deserve a massive thank you.
The dress is from http://twobirdsbridesmaid.co.uk
It fit everyone who came. Although it was really long on my 10 year old cousin, she still loved it. There are lots of different ways to wrap it to choose from, it comes with a leaflet and an app so I got the hang of it quite quickly. I obviously had a go in it too, it felt really luxurious. If I were a bridesmaid I'd wear it a little covered up for the ceremony, have it backless for a bit then halter necked for the dancing.
The flower crown and bouquet are from http://one-flew-over.co.uk
I met them at a wedding fair a few weeks ago and loved their display. They know a whole lot more about flowers than me so I just told them colour of the dress I was using and what colour I thought would work and I was so pleased with what they came up with.
The venue is http://thegrangeealing.co.uk
The manager was really good at responding to emails and answering questions before the shoot. All the staff I met on the day were really helpful, I even got one of them to be in the pictures. If you know the pub, see if you can spot her. They host weddings in two different parts of the pub.
